Business Area Manager

IBM Corporation, Somers, NY and various client sites throughout the US: Prepare the technical project plan in coordination with the functional team for complete technical development delivery. Supervise a team of onshore and offshore IBM India employees and ensure that the project time line and development meets quality standards. Manage a team of on shore and offshore functional consultants in providing level 2 functional 24x7 support for the SAP implementation in the US, Canada and Europe. Utilize Microsoft Projects, Project Management, Sales and Distribution Functional Industry knowledge, Production Planning Functional Industry knowledge, Materials management Functional Industry knowledge and Contract management and negotiation. Required: Masterâ€™s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or MIS and one (1) year of experience as a Staff Application Programmer, Consultant, Software Engineer or Senior Manager.
