Business Applications Lead
Position: Business Applications Lead
Job Functions:
Position requires candidate to be involved in a lead role with responsibility for design, development, and testing of new and existing systems. Candidate will work with a group of developers on exciting new Data Warehouse, business intelligence projects. Software environment includes C# and .net environment. You will also collaborate with our corporate office development group on projects. This position will also assist other developers in problem solving techniques and following best practices.
Understanding of full project life cycle and development methodologiesExperience in leading a team of 3 or more developers and report writersParticipate in design reviewsMust be able to show experience working in an enterprise level development environmentResponsible for managing a group of contractors/temps for various 3 and 6 month development projectsMust have very strong interpersonal relationship, team building, and collaboration and facilitation skillsMust have excellent people skills and communication skillsWill act in the role of a project manager periodically for various projectsWill work with Business Analyst to help direct gathering of business requirements
Experience:
Experience with Team Foundation Server or other similar products
Experience with Microsoft SQL 2000/2005
Experience with C# or .Net programming
2 years of using Visual Studio
Experience with ETL Tools, Data Warehouse design
Prefer someone who has worked as a lead developer for at least 2 years or has been a software applications manager
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
