CIBER will also sponsor an H-1 if needed and also can provide sponsorship for permanent residency. www.CIBER.com Job Description / Required skills:• Write knowledge items for Service Desk • Serve as liaison to business initiatives on assigned projects • Implement standard security solutions • Provide accurate and timely knowledge transfer • Consult with security initiative leads and appropriate support areas to ensure security solutions align with the initiative and support area's strategic direction• Keep security analysts informed of relevant Enterprise Initiative developments • Facilitate training/mentoring plans for new analysts • Apply and/or promote System Strategies • Develop and/or recommend security policies and procedures • Provide security consultation, support, and guidance throughout the project development lifecycle • Coordinate Team meetings • Develop and implement security solutions to help secure the enterprise • Create or update solution documentation including procedure documentation, and technical documentation • Work with business partners to perform and document security risk along with recommending mitigation • Steward the security environment which may include evaluating vendor solutions • Participates in architecture reviews with project team to ensure infrastructure issues are appropriately addressed • Research and utilize specialized security technologies, industry standards, relevant legislation • Work with project team to thoroughly understand the business needs being addressed • Navigate and apply Systems' and Security's organizational structure and processes • Assist and/or advise on critical design decisions and production implementations • Ensure analysts receive the appropriate training for initiative specific information • Stay abreast of developments on Enterprise Initiative projects • Assist in strategic and tactical work load management of resources • Review appropriate team deliverables • Work to create security solutions that align with Technical Architecture • Monitor and service the Service Desk Workgroups assigned as needed • Assist Auditors with investigations and respond to audit findings • Work with Business Partners to establish DOUs, SLAs and SLOs • Create and deliver presentations on security topics to Business Partners • Attend alert meetings • Attend technical conferences, User Group meetings/forums, and vendor technology briefings • Provide technical consultation, analysis and problem resolution expertise to Business Partners as requested • Participate in investigation of security violations, as requested • Understand and apply Industry Best Practices • Participate in Enterprise security teams • Coordinate Service RequestsQualifications / skills and experience / knowledge required or desired to perform this job: 1. Desired skills include working experience with 3 or more of the following a) Windows 2000/2003 server support skills b) Using and applying group policy c) IIS/Exchange d) Scripting (VB, C++, PERL) e) Windows XP Support f) Knowledge of a Windows domain environment g) Utilization of a Project Methodology 2. SANS Security Essentials (GSEC), Security +, or CISSP certification desired. If not already certified, then must be able to complete Security certification within a reasonable period of time.3. Ability to work in a team environment. 4. Ability to solve problems logically and systematically. 5. Ability to easily adjust to changes in work assignments. 6. Demonstrated customer service skills. 7. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. 8. Good written and oral communication skills including an ability to explain complex concepts to others. 9.
