*** NEEDED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START ***** Business Analyst for DC in Saginaw, TX **SUMMARY Fort Worth based manufacturing and distribution company seeks a Business Analyst to serve as a liaison with the Company’s business community to identify/validate needs and develop solutions, resolve issues, improve processes and lead IT projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job. • Define and document clear and complete detailed business requirements and functional specifications • Develop and assist with executing plans for system, regression, performance and user acceptance testing • Design data conversion strategies • Create project plans and tracking of those plans and projects to completion • Assist with training programs for new and enhanced applications • Serve as a subject matter expert supporting business applications for assigned departments • Identify, document and assist with the implementation of process improvements • Document and track issues and resolution using the company’s helpdesk software • Lead business department management meetings as it relates to systems, technology, and information sharing and/or reporting • Provide weekly status on project milestones, alerting business user/management of any potential delays • Investigation of new technologies and best practices, and making recommendations for new features, technology adoption and/or software QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Programming or Software Applications/Development background is required • Solid understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC) • Self-starter that possesses initiative, strong organizational skills, analytical, problem solving, decision making, and leadership skills • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. • Project management skills and rigorous attention to detail • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • Minimum of 2-5 years experience as a Business Analyst • Manufacturing & Distribution experience is highly preferred • Knowledge of System 21 (JBA) ERP system is preferred • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Project and MS Office • Bachelors degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is required IF YOU FEEL YOU WOULD BE A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE; PLEASE E-MAIL ME YOUR RESUME DIRECTLY AND A BRIEF DESCRIPTION ON WHY YOU WOULD BE A GOOD FIT.
