Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993. This BUSINESS ANALYST - CONSULTANT position is for an experienced, consultant-level role within Allstate Insurance.  As a Business Analyst Consultant, you will be responsible for applying business knowledge, communications and facilitation expertise to gathering and creating business and functional requirements for large complex Web applications.   Providing expertise across all major business functions through advanced understanding of the assigned business area. Representing an assigned business area and providing business expertise across projects for benchmarking and best practices. Partnering with business clients to gather and create business/functional requirements and application functionality. Creating functional designs and leveraging advanced technical skills to address requirements across several business processes, issues and/or project requirements. Assisting with detailed project planning for more complex projects by either contributing or creating project definition documents. Leading and organizing design review sessions for complex business/functional requirements and obtaining issues resolution.  Contributing to detailed deliverables and obtaining requirements documents and functional designs sign-off. Identifying testable business requirements and functional test conditions content for assigned applications/projects. Partnering to create and facilitate user acceptance testing. Consulting with business partners to conceptualize and outline required user training programs.
