The Ultrasound Demo department works with the Philips Supply Chain and Sales Organizations to ensure a successful customer exposure to Philips products. The Demo group operates in a team-oriented environment; positive, professional team interaction is the foundation of our success. Your Responsibilities: 80% Project ManagementCreate detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies and contingency plans. Manage project activities to established timelines. Track, report and resolve issues to maintain progress from project inception through implementation. Uses good judgment in evaluating project roadblocks and needs.Develop and implement 1. Operational plans for new and existing inventory control methods, including preparation of management reports. Lead process improvement workshops to assess current and anticipated process changes, make recommendations and implement agreed upon changes. Interface with technology specialists to ensure that the goals and objectives of the Demo group are clearly articulated and appropriate solutions are developed. Create appropriate test scenarios and ensure they are carried out as requested by the technology developers. 2. Business strategies to improve operational processing and productivity. Research and integrate best practices found inside or outside of business units. Support user organization and 'one way of working'.Spearhead the creation of appropriate and comprehensive user documentation, including desk references and training documents. May be called up to assist in the delivery of end-user training as needed. Develop appropriate processes to ensure training documents and desk procedures are up-to-date.20% Leadership and EscalationProvide day-to-day support to Philips' employees on resolution and/or education on issues or escalation as applicable.Participate in coaching and mentoring of others in their work efforts.Respond to changing demands and priorities; keeping in sync with leadership priorities.Monitoring of departmental metrics to anticipate issues proactively.Performs other duties as assigned, including day-to-day leadership of employees in the absence of a manager. Your Profile: * Understanding of GSSNA organizational business objectives, products, services, key players, key issues, business processes, and linkages within any single business group. Negotiates for a positive outcome between departments.* Understanding of specific functions and responsibilities of key departments, functions and critical applications, projects or initiatives.* Maintains current knowledge base of assigned business processes and procedures.* Demonstrated ability to drive for continuous improvement* Familiarity with Six Sigma or other Quality approach preferred.* Able to follow and create detailed policies and work procedures with minute differences.* Able to work under deadlines and time constraints* Effective communicator* BA preferred Contacts: Philips Notes Philips is an equal opportunity employer.
