Build Engineer
Build Automation Engineer:
Works with development teams to build all components of a software product, including maintaining automation scripts and tools, to keep up with changes in the product software.
Sets up initial build trees, performs, debugs and fixes builds.
Works closely with the members of the platform team and proactively identifies and implements procedures to parallelize and streamline the build process.
Drives the development and maintenance of build-automation tools.
Required Skills:
2 plus years build automation experience required.
Knowledge of build processes and the following tools: Maven2 is required. Ant is a preferred additional skill.
Build automation frameworks such as CruiseControl is required, Hudson or Continuum are a plus.
Knowledge of Linux is required.
Knowledge of source code control system Perforce is required, ClearCase is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, and as part of a team required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
