BO-SAP Integration Consultant

The BO-SAP Integration Architect role is to provide guidance on installing and configuring the SAP Integration Kit for Business Objects, act as a technical lead for design, development and support and assist with the development of BO reporting using the Integration Kit for accessing the SAP BW Cubes. Also provide mentorship to the team. Resource should have good experience with BW architecture to make decisions on suggesting the right BO integration options.Need someone who is an expert on BOXIR2 and above with exposure to SAP BW and is trained in installing and configuring the BO - SAP Integration Kit.  Skills Required: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR appropriate combination of education and experience, with an understanding of business intelligence concepts-5-8 years IT experience, a minimum of 3 years with SAP R3 modules (SD, MM, FI and APO) is required.-Three years experience with SAP BW 3.0 or higher is required. BW certification a plus.-3+ years demonstrated experience with formal data warehousing architectures, meta data management, master data management and data stewardship is required. -Proficiency in database design, data administration/modeling, acquisition, analysis and design, DBMS optimization, archive and recovery strategies, implementation, security, and change management strongly preferred.-Experience with SAP R3 development (ABAP programs, data dictionary objects, infosets, transports etc) is a plus.-Knowledge of an ETL tool and experience with SAP XI is a plus.-Experience with SAP BW BEx Query Web Development is required. -Experience using third party reporting, and analytical tools (Cognos, Oracle Developer, Business Objects) in a decision support / business intelligence environment is strongly preferred.-Experience with Microsoft Excel Programming and VBA, web application development is a plus.-Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills required, as well as communication and interpersonal skills and good organizational skills. -Proven verbal and written communication skills-Must be committed to provide a high level of customer service to internal clients.-Experience in operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing large-scale data transformation projects was critical to success-Knowledge of project management techniques Job Title: BO-SAP Integration Consultant Company: CSC Covansys Location: Chicago, IL 60601 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Information Technology Company: CSC Covansys Email: Apply by Email
