Location: Plano, TX 75023 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Pay Rate: DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE Reference Code: 1001141061 BI DirectorSummary:  A leadership position utilizing technical and human resources responsible for retail systems database maintenance as well as additional support databases that ultimately provide retail reporting.  Management of a retail-reporting group that works in both a production and ad hoc environment.  Basic design and development of both internal and external customized reports, utilizing a variety of reporting tools and sources.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Manage the daily activities of Data Integrity Team Leader. 2. Manage the daily activities of Report Development Team Leader. 3. Report Developer I and II functionality. 4. Project management of requested database opportunities and enhancements. 5. Research and coordination of communication with I.S. of potential database issues. 6. Requirement gathering of essential detailed information. 7. In depth analysis of viability of modification request and the resulting impact. 8. Create database transformation and extraction processes to enhance current database structure. 9. Consistent prioritization of an ever-changing task list. 10. Maintain a consistent level on new report development. 11. Monitor and follow established quality control process. 12. Effectively communicate all database and reporting changes and enhancements.   Education/Experience: 4-year college degree or related work experience.  One  two years relational database management experience.  Two years SQL scripting.  One year project management.  Database experience required.   Computer and Specific Skills: SQL scripting, Data Modeling, Data Transformation and extraction.  Project management, some VBA, relational database knowledge, preferably SQL Server 2000, Web-based reporting experience.     Description Assisting in the following;  Dashboard Development in QlikView and Performance Point Server 2007  Development of SQL Server Analysis Service cube development  Development of SQL Server Integration Service to support Data Mart and Data Warehouse environments  Development of SQL Server Analysis Service cube development  Support in the development of Business Intelligence data architecture Desired 1.
