Position Description:

- Create tickets in Remedy system to track problems and requests. - Heavy email and phone support. - Account creation and administration in Active Directory, Exchange, Postini. - VPN administration and support. - Troubleshooting desktop related issues. - Document procedures. - Ensure the availability of supported Systems and Applications. - Provide Blackberry support. - Provide support to local and remote user accounts. - Follow-up with end user to ensure satisfaction. - Attend meetings requiring representation of the Internal Help Desk. - Other applications supported: Citrix, Office 2003, Adobe Reader, Java, IBM Sametime, Visio, Project, and Access. - As Level 1-2 support, must work closely with other groups to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years hands on experience in LAN administration and desktop support.• Experience with Exchange 2003, Active Directory.• Strong working knowledge of Windows XP.• Strong knowledge of IBM desktops and laptops.• Highly motivated self starter – ability to work independently and within a team environment• Excellent time management, organizational, oral and written communication skills.• Excellent customer service skills and phone skills.• Excellent research skills – Resourcefulness.• The ability to manage multiple priorities a must.
