CherryRoad GT is dedicated to helping federal agencies meet their IT missions.  We’ve proven that we deliver comprehensive technology solutions that maximize enterprise performance.  Our core service offerings include:  Program Management, Call Center Operations, Network Management, Disaster Recovery and Logistics Systems Analysis. If you’re innovative and eager to explore new business challenges, you’ll enjoy a career with an industry leader. Asset Manager  Skills Required: *Must have intimate knowledge of using Remedy and prior experience managing IT assets and asset teams.*Formulate and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing technical and data of company software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement.  *Manages the operations of the inventory management function.  *Manages the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, vendor contracts, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software with Remedy Software/Database.  *Tracks asset quality throughout the product lifetime; Enter all software and hardware serial numbers or identification tags into database/repository/asset management software and ensure information is up-to-date, accurate, and auditable. *Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures to include government regulations governing policies and procedures for managing property accountability.  *Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plans and accomplish goals.  *A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.  *Conducts audits and preliminary investigations of misplaced assets for the customer.  *Defines scope, interface requirements, policy issues and performance criteria for the clients internet portal. *Conducts audits and preliminary investigations of lost and missing assets for customer.  *Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.  *Manage property for various locations for customer.  *The timely and proper maintenance, location tracking and disposal of leased and purchased assets.  *Maintenance management for preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment recording and tracking, replacement parts inventory, and maintenance labor scheduling.  *Maintenance management systems used work orders for preventive and predictive maintenance, equipment recording and tracking, replacement parts inventory, and maintenance labor scheduling.  *Compare licenses, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts against audits to ensure customers compliance with asset upkeep, upgrades, repair, and replacement.  *Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support.  *Explore opportunities for maximizing or exploiting unused or partially used IT assets to achieve full efficiency and return of investment from customer resources.  *Investigate equipment or software under consideration to determine return of investment and total cost of ownership throughout product lifecycle.  *Develop strategies and external relationships to implement plans for turning-in, recycling obsolete assets.  *Effectively communicate asset management strategies to supervisors and customer. *Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. CherryRoad GT offers highly competitive salaries, quarterly bonuses and a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and 401k with matched savings.   At CherryRoad GT…opportunity becomes achievement.  Please forward resumes to careers@cherryroad.com and indicate position code: MON-ASSET EOEMFDV www.cherryroadgt.com
