Because leading businesses large and small trust Harvey Nash to deliver skilled, dedicated IT professionals, you can trust Harvey Nash to offer sought-after, worthwhile career opportunities.NYC-based firm is currently seeking an Architect for a long-term consulting assignment in mid-town NYC. - Excellent verbal & written communication skills - Hands-on Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies - Able to handle multiple assignments at the same time - Strong experience in integrating/replacing existing systems to conform to an end-to-end business process. - Strong knowledge of .NET framework and Visual Studio - Experienced in the use of design patterns and their application - Experience with Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio Team System - Knowledge of/experience with Microsoft Enterprise Library 3.1 Assignment The candidate will be expected to take business requirements and architect a solution to meet those needs in the area of a corporate application framework. Candidate will also be responsible for architecting a solution that integrates a number of disparate systems that each play a disjointed role in an overall process in support of the software development lifecycle. A secondary responsibility will be to provide assistance and feedback to individual project teams via reviews of the applications architecture or provide support in troubleshooting technical issues. The candidate will also play a role in mentoring a junior member of the team. Some evaluation of products and technologies may occur during this assignment as well as assistance with best practice documentation.
