This person will lead project teams to determine project requirements, develop project plans, and analyze, design and implement new technology and/or enhancements to existing systems.Qualifications Thorough knowledge of project management which includes the ability to structure the work, define roles, delegate responsibilities and develop project/task schedules and plans Demonstrated ability to lead all phases of custom and packaged software development projects including needs assessment and determining system requirements, project planning, selecting a team and assigning project responsibilities, project scheduling, negotiating project deliverables, software/product evaluation and selection, system/application design and testing, communicating project status, and implementing and maintaining systems Experience in the full life cycle of SDLC (RUP highly preferred) Experience in leading technical and function teams (8+ staff) Experience in system design, data modeling and application architecture Prior hands-on development experience highly preferred Thorough knowledge of database concepts, database design, data modeling and system architectures General knowledge of documentation and training Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision Demonstrated ability to conduct business impact and cost/benefit analysis evaluations and recommend the appropriate course of action for assigned projects Demonstrated ability to define project scope and establish objectives for assigned projects Demonstrated ability to direct the activities of other associates and contractors within a project in a matrixed environment Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in identifying issues and recommending solutions to othersWe offer excellent salaries, a progressive environment and a premier benefits package that includes: Medical, dental and vision coverage effective day one The ability to accrue three weeks vacation in your first year 15% of annual salary plus bonuses contributed by the company to your retirement plan, up to IRS limits Generous educational assistance Annual $400 health and wellness reimbursement Paid, comprehensive training programs Team-oriented working environment Business casual dressWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
