Applications Developer- (Classic ASP,Visual Basic)

Thompson Technologies has an immediate need for an ASP Developer with solid experience with Visual Basic and MS SQL Server.

 

Although initially we are looking for a consultant, there may be opportunities for full-time employment at a later time.

 

Duties:

 

-Applications Development utilizing Classic ASP, VB with some ASP.net

-Developing stored procedures with MS SQL Server

-Developing and supporting internal reporting needs  

-Accurately identify, extract, analyze, and report on large volumes of data.

 

Skills Needed:

 

 - Strong analytical and project management skills, the ability to work independently, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

 -Strong communication skills and a high degree of creativity and latitude are required.

 

Technical Skills Needed:

 

-Visual Basic Scripting ( ASP)

-MS SQL Server

-Javascript

-ASP.net
