In this leadership position, you will Manage, Supervise and Coordinate efforts of the application team, as well as partner with department managers to control workflow and resource allocation. You will be responsible for the completion for major application related projects. You will oversee all or most for the systems development life-cycle and ongoing administration functions, including needs analysis, technology, and software assessment, project planning and management, system installation, implementation, testing, conversion to production status, authors technical and procedural documentation, user training and post implementation assessment and administration.
To be a success, you must have a BA/BS preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration or a closely related field along with 3-5 years of working in experience in a healthcare support organization implementing business and clinical applications. Knowledge of practices, techniques of supervision and of project management; training techniques, structured systems or procedures analysis, systems analysis and design, coding, testing and implementation of complex programs are all necessary. Strong supervisory and leadership skills are imperative, as is proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and motivate users as well as your direct reports. An understanding of HIPAA and Joint Commission guidelines is essential. An understanding of Hardware/network implementation is necessary. Excellent oral and written ability is necessary. Must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and receive a motor vehicle record clearance. Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice.
