Job Category:Sales/Marketing Primary Location:USA-MD: MARYLAND-HANOVERSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Standard Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 2008-09-16Description: Essential Job Functions Researches, identifies, assesses, facilitate, negotiates, government strategic technology transfer agreements Identifies, establishes, and sustains strategic partnerships with external organizations in order to provide services, products and solutions to potential and existing clients; researches and understands alliance business needs to ensure that all needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner. Manages ongoing alliances; serves as a point of contact for specific alliances; coordinates alliance activities; participates in contract negotiations in order to create alliances which are strategically and financially advantageous. Responds to more complex alliance conflicts and questions including, complex contract differences or changes in relationships; researches issues and takes appropriate actions when necessary, to ensure that all conflicts are handled in an expedited manner and all alliance functions are conducted effectively. Develops business plans and alliance strategies in order to maximize effectiveness; develops and enacts alliance processes and procedures to ensure that all activities adhere to company and legal guidelines. Determines alliance strategy needs. Develops appropriate level strategic plans to secure alliance partners and establishes financial tracking mechanisms for alliances to ensure payment accuracy. Prepares, recommends and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis. Participates in strategic solution development activities; including, but not limited to, identification, development, launch and operate phases. Increases the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization by identifying best practices and promoting reuse as it relates to technology and solutions. Leverages, communicates and promotes enablement/support offerings from partnerships for global service delivery staff in the areas of technology and solutions Basic Qualifications Bachelors' degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated understanding of Federal Technology Transfer legislation and policy Four years of combined experience with preparing, documenting and and facilitating government technology transfer agreements and interacting in the technology transfer community Two yeas experience evaluating and assessing technologies for commercial potential Twelve or more years of business development, information technology, or other related experience Nine or more years of supervisory or management experience included Experience working with company products and services Experience working with strategic planning and business environment Experience with contract interpretation, negotiations and project management Other Qualifications Good organization and time management skills to balance and prioritize work Good communication skills to interact with upper management, staff, vendors and clients Good human relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward employees Personal computer and business solutions software skills Ability to independently develop initiatives Ability to lead and work in a team environment Willingness to travel Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:TS/SCI w/ FS Polygraph Create Success
