Admin Assistant

Immediate opportunity in San Francisco available for a creative, dynamic Adminstrative Assistant to support the Director of Operations and Marketing. This position is challenging, demanding and enjoyable. The ideal candidate is ambitious and independent, with a desire to help stimulate the growth of the company. Experience supporting upper-level management in fast-paced environments preferred.  Responsibilities  â€¢ Maintain and manage the Director's calendar  • Maintain and manage departmental calendars  • Coordinate individual, departmental and company-wide meetings and take minutes  • Assist with making reservations and coordinating events  • Make domestic and international travel arrangements as required  • Prepare correspondence and documents  • Research and then contact vendors for various tasks  • Maintain relationships with vendors  • Document various processes and knowledge in the company wiki (Confluence)  • Take ownership of and manage other simple and complex special projects and tasks, as assigned  • Assist with the development and then maintenance of departmental filing systems  Skills  â€¢ Proficiency in Macintosh computer operation and related software usage  • Attention to detail  • Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision  • Strong work ethic, reliable and detail-oriented  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (seriously!)  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment  • Flexibility and a desire to take on responsibilities  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills  • Experience with most of the following software applications: Â° Microsoft Word for Mac / Pages  ° Microsoft Excel for Mac  ° Keynote  ° iCal  ° Mail.app  ° OmniGraffle  ° Adobe Professional â€¢ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs preferred, but not required  RemX OfficeStaff is an Equal Opportunity Employer
