Active Directory and Backup Engineer

Summit Technologies, Inc. has a position available for a Sr. Level Active Directory and Backup Engineer. This experience is relevant to one of my current openings in Bethesda, MD.

Description:

Sr. level Active Directory engineer with strong backup and storage experience.

- 7 + years of experience in Microsoft environments

- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise environments

- Strong Active Directory knowledge

- Strong experience with Commvault Simpana product preferred.

- Open to strong experience with Veritas, Backup Exec, NetBackup, Legato, Arcserve, OpenView Storage Data Protector, Backup Express, and others.

- Should have experience with storage and backup methodologies as well as Disaster Recovery

- General knowledge of SAN storage technologies, including EMC Clariion and Symmetrix, IBM Shark, HP EVA, and others

- General knowledge of SAN switching technologies, including Brocade, McData, and Cisco, including management tools and extended features.

- Bachelors degree a plus

- Relevant certifications a plus
