RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage full cycle Accounts Payable

· Collect vendor W-9 data required for vendor set up and prepare yearly 1099 reporting to IRS Perform Vendor account reconciliations

· Handle vendor and internal customer calls and e-mails and provide timely and accurate responses to all A/P inquiries

· Prepare month-end accruals and journal entries 

· Maintained Fixed Assets  and prepare monthly depreciation journal entries

· Additional GL projects may be assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· College degree is required, BS in accounting is preferred

· 2-4 yrs Accounting Experience is essential

· Candidate must have experience in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

· Experience with the accounting system Great Plains is also required

· Must possess exceptional analytical abilities

· Highly motivated individual with strong sense of ownership

· Must be proactive with solid organizational and time management skills

· Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize workload

· Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional communication skills

· Ability to set up accounting procedures as company is growing rapidly
