Job Summary: Ecology and Environment, Inc. is seeking an ASP.NET Web Application Developer for our corporate office in Lancaster, New York.
E & E’s web development group has developed over 200 applications for a variety of clients. This job will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of applications and the ability to research cutting edge technology.
Responsibilities:Balancing and completing various project tasks on time and within a budgetDesigning and programming ASP. NET web applications using C#, Visual Studio 2005/2008, and Adobe/ Macromedia StudioWebsite designUser interfaceProblem solvingObject oriented designWeb servicesCreating Custom solutions
Requirements:
· A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or a combination of a technical degree (Math / Science) and computer experience.
· Position requires a minimum of two to four years experience in developing Web-based applications.
· Strong verbal communication skills
· Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008
· Project management is a plus.
