AIX Systems Engineer
AIX Systems Engineer will be responsible for evaluating, implementing and maintaining multiple UNIX AIX system configurations (hardware & software) within a highly available clustered environment. Additional responsibilities include requisite day-to-day activities such as monitoring, automation, performance tuning, security/patch update analysis and disaster recovery preparedness.Â
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience as an AIX Systems Engineer. Environment is IBM P570 AIX systems - Power6 level. The critical skills for this position include the ability to implement and manage/tune virtualized LPAR’s and micro partitioning.
