453259269 The Ginn Group is seeking A Scientific Data Analyst: A Scientific Data Analyst is needed to program support (not IT support) to the Program Evaluation Branch (PEB) Data System and Analysis Team (DSAT), particularly for data management, analysis, interpretation, feedback to sites, technical assistance, training, and information dissemination activities. The SDA will conduct analysis (mostly in SAS, but other statistical software packages may be needed such as Epidemiological Information) of data housed by DSAT, give feedback to appropriate PEB and non-PEB staff, and track all activities. Core Requirements: 1. Provide data management and analysis support from program perspective-not IT perspective. For example, work with various data format, implement data management practices, provide technical support to project areas, and be responsible for data standards and reporting formats. 2. Work with, manage databases. 3. Train and provide technical assistance to an audience with various levels of data management and analysis experience. 4. Frequent interaction with project areas and DHAP’s Program and Evaluation Branch (PEB) and Program Prevention Branch (PPB). 5. Present data and other scientific information to project area staff and DHAP branches. 6. Develop, maintain, and store project documentation.

Required Skills:
· Minimum three years work experience with data analyses and management support. Proficiency with data management, analysis (i.e., SAS), and data interpretation.
· Proficiency with trouble shooting, training, and providing technical assistance.
· Proficiency with providing scientific information to scientific and non-scientific staff.
· Proficiency with developing and maintaining productive working relationships with multidisciplinary staff from different organizations/agencies.

Additional Desired Skills/Pluses:
· Experience working in HIV/STD public health.
· Detail-oriented.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to work with limited supervision.

Educational Requirements:
· BS/BA required, MS/MA required, [Major: CS]
· 3 Years of experience in lieu of degree
