3rd Party Security Auditor
The 3rd Party Security Auditor is responsible for identifying the 3rd Party Vendor risk associated with their data storage methods and how the data is utilized to ensure it meets the security guidelines.Essential Functions Develop and manage 3rd party vendor audit functions. Audit 3rd party vendors processes to determine risk associated with their data storage methods and how the data is utilized to ensure it meets security requirements. This also includes reviewing the technical details of our connection to the 3rd party vendors. Audit existing and new contacts with 3rd party vendors to ensure security requirements are being met. Assist 3rd party vendors with identifying their potential security risks and offer resolution ideas. Review 3rd party responses to technical questionnaires. Evaluate proposed and implemented mitigating controls. Get management approval for the acceptance of residual risk. Keeps management informed about status of 3rd party vendor remediation items. May manage contract teams to perform on site evaluations of 3rd party vendor security processes. Assists the Data Security Engineer and Director of Security in security incident resolution. Contributes to the development of Early Warning security policy and procedures. May perform other duties as required. Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.Qualifications BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physical Science, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of audit/technical evaluation experience with various types of systems and networks. Ability to work independently or within a team environment Excellent interpersonal skills are required with a demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationships. Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, and/or MCSE are highly desirable Approved background and drug screen is required.
