Purpose: As a Business Analyst, you will maintain a deep understanding of business processes for the business area(s) that he/she supports. Provide leadership and project management functions for multiple projects within a business area throughout the project lifecycle process including, but not limited to the gathering of client requirements, authoring various project related documents, managing TTS communication and client relationships, and assisting throughout the project lifecycle. Perform these activities following the TTS and TSD standards working with minimal direction. Serve as a liaison between the business and technical teams. See Yourself: Maintaining a deep understanding of the business process areas that you support. Working with the business and technical teams to define business needs and implement innovative solutions that meet business objectives or create new business opportunities from a tactical perspective. Partnering with manager and client on defining project direction. Creating or providing input to project plans. Managing key projects and project related documentation (project definition, test plans, requirements definition, etc.). Gathering business requirements and applying tactical business direction. Translating business requirements into technical requirements used for driving technical improvements, enhancements, or creation of new applications. Communicating project direction and scope and negotiating with teams to work through constraints and alternatives. Coordinating key project activities. Tracking business trends and keeping current with all available technical options, development procedures and innovative solutions for key business initiatives. Partnering with clients to analyze business process and related problems. Interfacing with vendors in selection and negotiation of software and hardware products. Negotiating and managing project scope, progress, and client expectations. Ensuring that client needs are being met throughout the project lifecycle. Driving project effort and facilitating project related meetings. Communicating team and project updates as needed to TTS, management, and client teams. Understanding the various application development methodologies (waterfall, iterative, etc.) and can apply them appropriately depending on the type of project that you are leading. Effectively completing projects leveraging the off-shore application development model. Understanding and following the EAM transition process to ensure a smooth transition of support to EAM. Participating in TSD Reviews and Inspections for assigned TSD artifacts. Tracking time and fulfilling required status reporting requirements.
