Job Requirements:
• Develop and implement plans to ensuring the physical safety and security of all employees and property around the world.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policy, guidelines and record-keeping.
• Provide leadership in matters associated with internal or externally generated safety and security issues through identification of causative factors, appropriate course(s) of action, foreseeing future issues and put in place effective means of mitigating such issues.
• Oversee guard operations at all locations worldwide. Manage & track security operations costs for all managed locations.
• Initiate, develop and direct risk assessments, incident reporting, investigations, safety and physical security, intelligence, guard operations, access control, executive protection, etc.
• Conduct vulnerabilities assessment and implement programs to avoid and mitigate business risks.
• Provide strategic analysis and planning for senior level management on emergency situations, including crisis planning/response, hazard mitigation and business continuity including international travel security programs.
• Develop, communicate and direct effective corporate loss prevention strategies ensuring appropriate control levels are in place and verified for major value assets.
• Develop and maintain a database to document all safety and security related incidents and utilized it for trend analysis, risk mitigation, litigation support, criminal prosecution, loss recovery, and employee awareness.
• Direct or coordinate investigation of any crime committed at or against Riverbed.
• Provide accurate and timely consultation and advice to senior management regarding safety and security matters. Including special events protection programs for shareholders meeting, media events, trade shows, executive travels, etc.
• Direct, develop, implement and manage comprehensive corporate-wide safety and security education and awareness programs. Provide safety committees and ERT training.
• Manage employee ergonomic programs.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance will applicable corporate standards.
• Must be willing to travel. Agree to be “on-call” 24/7.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:
• Significant experience in overseeing all aspects of Security activities for a global multi-location company.
• 15 years related experience in a fast changing & growing corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proficient in computer skills especially in Software House, Excel and Power Point.
• Ability to understand business objectives, strategies and directions and to develop & implement actions plans accordingly.
