***Windows System Admin Position w/Alltech (Crystal City, VA)***

Alltech Int'l is urgently seeking a Windows System Administrator to work on a government project with one of our Fortune 100 partners in Crystal City, VA. This position is critical and we are seeking to fill this immediately. Salary is commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
MIN EDUCATION: Bachelors
MIN EXPERIENCE: 5 - 10 Years

 

- Day to day responsibilities include: Design, deploy, configure, and administer Windows 2003 servers.
- Proficient with Active Directory administration and configuration (DNS, DHCP, Account management, group policies)
- Good interpersonal and group presentation ability.
- Understanding and ability to deliver quality service desk support.
- Good writing skills for authoring technical Standard Operating Procedures.
- Fundamental understanding of Solaris 10 and Linux operating systems.
- Fundamental understanding of Cisco firewalls and switches.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel to create diagrams and author documentation.

 

Nice to haves:
Experienced with Installation and Configuration, and Administration of the following server technologies:
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
• Internet Information Server 6.0
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
• IBM Information Server 8.0.1
• Symantec NetBackup 6.5 for Windows and Solaris
• Robotic LTO libraries for data backups
• Microsoft Terminal Services
• Symantec Anti-Virus Management Solutions
• TCP/IP networking
• Dell Open Manage
• EMC Clariion/Celerra


CLEARANCE/CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must meet security clearance requirements (credit/criminal)
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
