General Qualifications

Degree Preference: BS in IT-related field preferred

Certification Requirement: MCSE Windows 2003 Server preferred



Assignment

Work in a team of 4 on server projects and support related issues. Majority of work is project related: working with customers and IT project teams. Assignment also includes server operations and support responsibilities.



Primary Responsibilities

1) Design and implement enterprise-class Windows server solutions.

2) Evaluate and recommend server hardware and software solutions to meet business unit requirements.

3) Provide 3rd level Windows server technical support to internal server groups.

1) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

2) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

3) Ability to manage tasks and work well independently or as a member of a team effort.

4) Self motivated individual with excellent troubleshooting skills.



Required Technical Skills

1) Windows Platform Designer - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

Five years enterprise-level admin experience with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and products.

2) Wintel Platform Designer - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

Five years experience with Microsoft infrastructure services (Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

3) Wintel Platform Designer - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

Experience designing, installing, and administering Microsoft Cluster Server and IIS. Experience with HP Proliant server hardware.

4) Wintel Platform Designer - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

Five years experience in the design of enterprise Windows server solutions, both hardware and software.



Preferred Technical Skills

1) Windows Platform Designer - Expert with 2 year(s) experience.

Two years experience deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting virtual server implementations.
