Validation Technician - Linux, Unix, Perl, PythonDescription: Validation Technician Linux, Unix, Perl, Python3 - 6 Month Contract Position - 8 am - 5 pm ShiftCandidate Needs To Send Resume As A Word.doc Attachment The Validation Technician will prepare and assemble workbenches and test equipment to monitor and conduct prescribed validation testing for this company's chipsets.Responsibilities: Pre-Silicon Handle receivable logistics Manage equipment inventory Set-up and/or rearrange lab benches and racks Set-up test equipment Assemble SV platforms Track disposition of CPU's and test boards using the lab database Post silicon Update configuration code for silicon stepping changes Perform thermal and voltage skew and memory matrix testing Bring-up and debug boards and/or platforms Start and stop execution tests Probe and disposition execution rack test failures Repair and maintain execution and debug platforms, software replication stations, database servers, PCs, etc Enter data into system validation database Manage project inventory and shipping logistics Generate project status dataAbout Our Client:This company is the world's largest manufacturer of computer chips founded in 1968. Requirements: Required Skills for this Validation Technician position include the following: Bios structure knowledge Experience with setting-up and/or rearranging lab benches and racks Experience with setting-up test equipment Experience with assembling platforms and updating configuration code Logic analyzers, set-up and utilization experience Knowledge of debugging boards and/or platforms Experience with execution testing Knowledge of data entry on spreadsheets and databases (e.g. Excel and Access) Software experience specifically Linux, Unix, Perl and Python The ability to lift 50+ lbs.
