VB.NET Windows Forms Software Engineer, T-SQL Database Development
Location: Williamsburg, VA 23187 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Pay Rate: 55,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD /yearExcellent Benefits A dynamic, growing firm develops customized web applications and has an immediate opening on their engineering team. Developers with Windows Forms Experience (VB.NET, C#), and T-SQL (or PL/SQL) development experience are encouraged to apply online. If you enjoy working closely with clients to gather requirements and deliver high priority, enterprise solutions, please apply online.  Duties, Responsibilities, and Daily Tasks: Design, Programming, analysis, testing, and post implementation client support in a professional environment. Create robust software applications in VB.NET 2.0, 3.5, and T-SQL. Develop database systems in T-SQL including intermediate level stored procedures, functions, etc. Administer application level SQL databases. Normalize and index tables. Translate business requirements into technical design documents for new systems development initiatives. Manage projects from initial requirements gathering to product testing, delivery, and support. Liaison with various groups and vendors on product release scheduling. . Qualifications, Experiences, and Professional Experience: Software Development Experience: VB.NET, or C# -   Object oriented programming, design, and analysis. Windows Forms Development experience, Windows Services. Relational database expertise: SQL stored procedures, functions, views, schemas, etc. Advanced SQL Query writing at a minimum. B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering Experience with MS IIS, Access, Project, and Visio. Thank you for your interest -- Please apply online!
