USA jobs: Filenet P8 Architect

The ECM P8 Architect is responsible for all technical aspects of IBM FileNet P8 solution implementations. This includes not only the responsibilities and duties mentioned below but also the ability to work closely with the Healthcare Solutions Group (HSG) Product Manager to assist in the development of new custom applications built utilizing the IBM FileNet P8 framework. Additional responsibilities include sales support, RFP technical response creation and collaboration with the Support team on architecture issues that affect customers.

Responsibilities and duties will include:
• 3-5 years of experience in installing and configuring Websphere version 6 or higher and FileNet P8
• Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience
• Willing to travel 25% - 100% (Capable of traveling within the US and Canada)
• Experience managing small to medium teams is required
• Experience with .NET is preferred; extensive (4+ years) of JAVA architect experience will be considered
• Previous software development experience is preferred (i.e. JAVA, .NET)
• RDB experience is preferred
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Hardware/software:
• IBM FileNet P8 Content Engine
• Oracle
• UNIX
• Microsoft Internet Information Server
• Microsoft Windows XP
• Microsoft Windows Server
• FileNet Image Manager and P8

Recommend ECM architecture based upon communicated client needs Choose and configure hardware based on architecture requirements
Develop enterprise-wide backup strategies for the P8 solution
Understand and deploy load-balancing technologies
Make storage recommendations based on the solution requirements
Identify, research and resolve software and system configuration related problems
Minimum of 5-7 years of ECM architecture experience with IBM P8; related ECM architect experience will be considered
3-5 years of experience in installing and configuring Websphere version 6 or higher and IBM FileNet P8
