Treasury Analyst - Call 408-392-0506Description: Volt Accounting & Finance has an exciting Treasury Analyst opportunity at an exciting Technology company in Sunnyvale. This person will be responsible for all U.S. Cash Management activities and the primary contact for the accounting associated with all treasury cash activity worldwide.Position requires a high level of initiative, responsiveness, accuracy and customer service orientation, as well as knowledge of the corporate organization, its business policies and procedures, tax/legal issues, and accounting. The person should enjoy a changing environment and have a great attitude.Work handled requires a high degree of professionalism and tact in dealing with the internal and external stakeholders as well as a flexible work schedule.Responsibilities;1 Manage the company's U.S. Cash Position. This includes the daily cash management and reconciliation of all the company's bank accounts. Complete daily cash management activities through the use of a Treasury Workstation, minimizing the amount of idle cash in the U.S. while ensuring adequate liquidity to meet all operating requirements.2 Treasury Accounting. Act as the primary contact for Finance team as it relates to the accounting for all Treasury cash activity while ensuring that all of the Treasury bank account activity is imported properly into the General Ledger each day.3 Ensure that the month-end close activities and GL reconciliation are performed in accordance with established Finance policies.Examples of Duties and Tasks performed (not limited to).1 Ensure that all bank account data has been successfully imported into Treasury System each day.2 Reconcile all U.S. bank accounts each day within the Treasury System. Ensure up-to-date reconciliation between the Bank, Treasury System and GL.3 Work with Treasury team to decide excess overnight cash investment strategy and execute the daily investment/redemption decision for the US based on the daily cash position analysis.4 Back up international cash management activities in EMEA and APAC.5 Monitor Positive Pay reporting via Oracle ERP (in association with A/P) on a daily basis to prevent fraud on checks written. Monitor ACH payment initiation via Oracle ERP (in association with A/P).6 Reconcile Controlled Disbursements account within Oracle ERP on a monthly basis. Work with A/P to ensure adherence to the company policy on outstanding checks and unclaimed property.7 Work with the rest of the Treasury Ops team to administer online banking tool access for users in the US. Requirements: Experience Information: This position requires experience in a corporate treasury function, CCM credentials are highly desirable.The position requires strong personal computer skills. Proficiency in the use of Word for Window, Excel for Windows, and Internet Explorer a must.
