Promethius Consulting, LLC is a leader in outsourced IT solutions for small to medium-sized businesses in the Indianapolis market.  We are currently seeking a full-time PC Network Engineer to assist in providing IT consulting and support to our local client base.

 

About the Position 

As a Tier 1 PC Network Engineer, you will provide on-call computer support to various Indianapolis locations.  95% of your work will take place during normal business hours.  A normal day will consist of traveling to between two and four local clients to provide on-site network support and maintenance of servers, workstations and peripheral network hardware.  Some days will consist of mostly phone support and remote access.  Each month also brings projects involving server/network upgrades and new builds.  A position with Promethius Consulting ensures that you will be exposed to several different technologies and networks in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and improving.

 

Requirements

Qualified candidates will be A+ certified and have at least 1 yr. experience in PC support; cursory level knowledge in technologies supported: Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, MS Office, IE 7.x, TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN; excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to effectively interface and team with all levels of the organization.
