Technical Trainers U.S. Census Bureau Largo, MD Job Description: Preferred Systems Solutions, Inc. (PSS) is seeking a team of Technical Trainers to support the development of training materials for the 2010 Census. The trainers will perform peer reviews of all training materials, including computer based training (CBTs), for both PDA and Desktop or Laptop classroom sessions, e-learning, and m-learning environments (CBTs, WebEx sessions, Simulations) and maintain a web-based collaborative software system (eRoom) for Training document management. Trainers will support training activities by attending and participating in internal and external meetings and offering feedback and direction to subcontractors on deliverables. The trainers will assist with updates to training documentation resulting from change requests and interface with sub-contactors and the customer on training development and deliverables resolutions. Required Skills: *Experience training Help Desk personnel a must *Experience on a Help Desk a plus *3-8 years experience in technical training and documentation (design, development, delivery, evaluation) *B.A. minimum *Instructional Systems Design coursework or certification *Training Evaluation coursework or certification *Some experience with Peer or QA reviews *E-Learning and/or M-Learning experience *Familiarity with Software Design Processes and Documents: Use Cases, Process Flow Maps, Detailed Design Reviews *Conversational Spanish is a plus Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
