Technical Support Specialist
Astro-Med, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high tech specialty printing systems, electronic medical instrumentation, and test and measurement instruments used around the world in a wide range of industrial, scientific, and medical applications. It is a growth orientated company which believes in vigorous product development, high product quality, and total customer satisfaction. Presently, we have an immediate opening for a Technical Support Specialist supporting our Test and Measurement product group. This position would support all aspects of our Test and Measurement and Ruggedized products.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
· Telephone support of T&M and Ruggedized products. This includes application support as well remote troubleshooting.
· On-site installation and customer training or troubleshooting and repair of T&M or Ruggedized products any where in the US. Ability to travel 25% of the time or more is a requirement. Willingness to travel internationally is a plus.
· On-site troubleshooting and repair of T&M or Ruggedized products.
· Testing/duplication of reported field problems.
.The qualified candidate will have at least 2 – 4 years experience as an Electronic Technician, good communication skills that are necessary to assist customers, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong computer skills a must.
