Our dedicated customer service is focused on life science and committed to serving the needs of this community across the globe and around the clock.Description• To effectively insure operations meets their daily and long-term goals and assignments • The research and evaluation of new system strategies and/or software technological solutions • To provide the tools, knowledge and support to the team which is needed to perform their jobs effectively • To assist management to provide a vision to the team, which if followed and executed, will streamline, automate and reduce cost of the job functions for each team member • To train and mentor all members of the team so they may effectively perform their operational duties • Oversee the monitoring of Dendrite’s client and/or internal systems and facilities • Oversee the operation and monitoring of Dendrite’s client and/or internal system back-up jobs • Support Computer Operator with troubleshooting, escalating and/or resolving issues that occur, according to policies and procedures in place • Media Rotation Maintenance: The assurance that all media rotations are properly maintained according to established policies and procedures • Ensure the completion of documentation, recording, and/or logging of events and issues that occur during the course of an Operations shift • To assist in updating and maintaining all Managed Hosting Services documentation • Maintain the appearance of the Data Center. • Monitor access of non-MHS employees in the Dendrite Data CentRequired Experience• Minimum one course completed towards either A++, MCSA, MCSE, UNIX, Oracle or SQL Professional Certifications• Minimum 1 year Operations experience• 2 years experience with MS Windows.• 1 years experience using HP Data Protector• 1 years experience using HP OpenView Operations• 1 years experience using NetIQ AppManager• 0-6 months experience administrating Intel servers• 0-6 months experience administrating UNIX servers • 0-6 months experience using Oracle or SQL databases• Must be able to work constructively in a team environment• Must be able to provide leadership to team.• Capable of setting priorities and making decisions.• Must have excellent communication skills.• Must be creative and innovative.• Supervisory experience is a plus.• Must be familiar with the processes of media management, system monitoring, escalation, and backup management.Please submit your application with salary requirements: http://hostedjobs.openhire.com/epostings/jobs/submit.cfm?fuseaction=dspjob&jobid=280208&company_id=15614&jobboardid=24 Cegedim Dendrite is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
