Technical Account Manager

serves as primary contact for assigned account(s) for all related projects supported by RSA Security, Inc. This position is responsible for developing short and long term strategies to assist in the growth and business objectives of Premium Service customers. It is also responsible for supporting Sales team’s objectives of account growth by building deep and broad relationships within accounts, evaluating and implementing strategies to satisfy current customer requirements as well as securing new business opportunities, recommending product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and providing business and operational analysis. Responsibilities: Serve as a resource for the successful execution of enterprise customer solutions, from initial integration (definition / design, set-up, launch, and roll out) to on-going production Drive project management with internal cross-functional teams to effectively implement new and on-going customer programs Establish, build and maintain positive, professional relationships at all decision levels within assigned accounts Build high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provide advice and consultation to customers on planned timelines and objectives Track and monitor progress of all functional areas throughout the implementation process Identify opportunities to add additional products and services to the solutions used by the customer Key escalation point to help defuse potential problems Provide regular status reports to internal recipients and field sales teams. Develop and maintain a regularly scheduled communication plan with custom Skills and Experience: 2-5 years experience in a customer or account management position Proven ability to effectively manage and cultivate client relationships. Ability to take on new challenges and learn new technologies Proficient in controlling customer situations, and setting customer expectations appropriately. Create resolution plans, as necessary. Demonstrated ability to understand business issues and processes and to articulate the business context of projects and processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem solve Strong implementation and project management skills Customer service focus Strong OS knowledge, ideally with experience of Solaris, HP-UX or AIX and Windows A system/network administration background would be beneficial.
