This job involves supporting customers of our Software Development tools. Responding to customer questions, taking issues and reproducing the issue and escalating to the development engineering when appropriate. Experience running various PC operating systems including Windows XP, Vista or Linux. Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment. Can follow technical directions carefully and accurately. Runs predefined software installation and tests in a controlled environment. Since the products being supported are software development products, the engineer must be comfortable with using C++ compilers. The job does not include software development.
