We are currently seeking a 10 month contract Systems Analyst (Development and COBOL knowledge) for our Fortune 500 insurance client located in the Bloomfield, CT market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for covering the work of a large number of developers. Activities will include creating accurate use cases, data requirements, and functional specifications, for an application integration effort Requirements for ConsiderationÂ· Six+ years of experience covering the full systems development life-cycle in large (500+ developers) IT organizationsÂ· Strong documentation skills and the ability to efficiently create accurate use cases, data requirements and functional specifications for an application integration effortÂ· Experience with both mainframe COBOL development practices and SOA based application integration practicesÂ· Experience with integrated testing across multiple applications and application development teamsÂ· Bachelor's Degree To Apply for This position:Please send a copy of your resume to EricSpence@spherion.com or apply directly through Monster.
