Storage Specialist - SC III - St. Louis

A Storage Specialist is a pre-sales quota carrying salesperson responsible for driving the sale of Dell storage solutions.  This person will work with Account teams to directly drive the sale of Dell EqualLogic, PowerVault and Dell|EMC solutions into your assigned territory.Make customer sales calls to surface, qualify and close new customer accounts.An integral part of the Dell sales team, the Storage Specialist is responsible for technical pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle.  This includes, but is not limited to, the development and implementation of technical sales strategies, delivery of technical presentations, product demonstrations, customer focused seminars, and support for customer product evaluations.The Storage Specialist will use their advanced technical knowledge to drive sales while insuring customer satisfaction through proper expectation management.  The Storage Specialist should have 8-10 years outside pre-sales experience AND 3-5 years of experience focused on networked storage solutions and/or complex enterprise solutions. Candidate must be able to work effectively, independently and with existing sales teams. Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong written and oral communications skills, exemplary selling skills, and good time management skills. A college degree is preferred as well as some level of technical certification (MCSE, PMI, EMC, etc.). Extensive travel is required for this position (50%). This position may require occasional heavy lifting.
