Sr. Software Development Engineer Position Overview:If you're a software engineer looking to make difference in a variety of programming projects, we're the place. At Activant Solutions our distribution specific ERP product solves important industry needs within the SMB segment for distributors. Our quality assurance and release engineering teams are developing tools to automate our product upgrades, performance and functional testing. We're looking for talented Java engineers to continue to drive our product and processes forward.Responsibilities:Contributing member of a technical quality assurance team. Designs, implements and tests software within a provided design framework including all necessary software coding, and product and process documentation. Responsible for ensuring all deliverables are high quality.Requirements:Java programming skills. Strong OO / Design patterns understanding. BS or equivalent experience in software development.
