Job description:
Independently performs and manages business process consulting (BPC) services that span the life-cycle of a project, including: requirements analysis, writing proposals or statements of work, and developing and managing project plans. May work as team/project lead for specific assigned projects. Responsible for developing project costs/technical performance data. Technical responsibilities include process definition and analysis, process improvement planning and implementation, and change management.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or appropriate hard science desired. Combination of equivalent experience and bachelor's degree acceptable. Advanced degree (MBA, MIE, MPA) preferred.
Required Skills:
Successful project or consulting experience in one or more of the following areas: business process re-engineering (BPR), enterprise IT systems, IT infrastructure management, or reliability/quality engineering. Desired government/DoD experience. Experience in at least one of the following methodologies: Rummler/Brache, BPR, TQM, ISO-9000, Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and knowledgeable of business process modeling tools such as CASEwise, Mega, IDEF0 thru IDEF9, or Zachman Enterprise Architecture.
Desired Skills:
Previous experience managing a large complex business process project.
