Solutions Engineer

Continental Resources, Inc. is the nationwide source for systems and network integration, network design and support, on site remote services, multi-vendor solutions, hardware, installation consulting and life cycle services.

We are looking for Senior Systems Engineers/Administrators with extensive experience on Sun Microsystems Servers, Storage and the Solaris Operating System. You will be working in the Professional Services Division, providing pre and post implementation services. We need a dynamic and energetic individual for this demanding position. Routine tasks will involve: performing on-site work for our clients and documenting all work performed, performing analysis of customer’s environments, assisting in writing proposals, having face to face meetings with customers. You must be able to work in a team, and also be self sufficient. Some travel may be required. Candidates (without exception) must have 6+ years Hands-On & relevant work experience with Sun/Solaris.

 

Additional Solaris or Windows qualifications to enhance consideration can be:

·  Symantec/Veritas Products or holding a Symantec/Veritas Certified Professional Certification (VCP)

·  Hitachi Data Systems Storage and/or experience in designing and implementing heterogeneous SAN solutions

·  Oracle

·  SunRay Thin Clients

·  VMWare
