Software Version Control and Tool Patch Specialist (UNIX ClearCase, Openmake)

We are currently seeking a 3 month contract Software Version Control and Tool Patch Specialist (UNIX ClearCase, Openmake) for our Fortune 500 client located in the Riverwoods, IL market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day release, upgrade, and infrastructure activities. Tasks include but are not limited to ·  Perform software version control and build tool patch releases and upgrades Create and update administrative scripts to support SCM infrastructure and automation processes·  Write training documentation for DFS specific implementations of the tools supported by the SCM Team·  Provide end user support and training for ClearCase and Openmake tools·  Provide end user build support for DFS application software·  Rotational pager responsibilities·  Interact with a wide range of internal teams and software vendors to meet project and end user goals Requirements for Consideration·  Experience with both Windows and Unix Operating Systems·  3+ yrs ClearCase user/Clearcase Administration·  3+ yrs Openmake user/Openmake Administration·  Programming or scripting experience in Windows, Unix or Linux Please send a copy of your resume to EricSpence@spherion.com or apply directly through Monster.
