Software Sales Account Executive (Key New Accounts) WI Position Overview:Drive sales for all of Activant’s wholesale distribution products and services.Responsibilities:• Drive overall management of sales activities within assigned territory to ensure quarterly and annual sales objectives are exceeded. • Effectively sell WDN solutions and services. Negotiate and close new business. • Maintain high number of weekly new face-to-face prospect meetings. • Document all sales contacts and activities and maintain up to date Opportunity records using SFDC. • Develop and maintain a business, sales and marketing plan for assigned territory. • Effectively present Activant’s WDN Solutions. • Develop strategies to generate cost effective sales leads. • Share input with other departments in preparing sales materials and technical publications. • Assist in preparing Pre-Sales Consultants and Professional Services for customer demonstrations and presentations.Requirements:Education, Experience & Training: • BA/BS in Business, Distribution, Operations, Logistics or related field of study preferred. • Solid experience in wholesale distribution including strong knowledge of general business processes such as accounting, inventory management, and order processing. • 3 – 5 plus years of successful experience selling high value software solutions and services (ERP, SCM, MES, WMS application software experience strongly preferred) to Wholesale Distribution vertical.Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills: • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales objectives. • Demonstrated ability to consistently generate revenue and exceed quota by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business. • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business, sales, and marketing plans. • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement successful sales process that generates revenue. • Strong ability to create sales presentations messages, position statements, and other sales collateral. • Strong knowledge of wholesale distribution. • Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate complex contracts. • Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse, and occasionally unprecedented. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Excellent time management and follow up skills. • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex contracts, proposals, and other sales related documents. • Successful experience creating and presenting sales programs to a diverse audience. • Excellent PC and Internet skills, including significant experience with Microsoft Office applications, a Sales Force Automation tool and Web meeting tools like WebEx. • Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Flexibility in work schedule is required. • Regional travelJob Status: Full-Time Click here to APPLY NOW.
