Software/Hardware Testing Engineer, Apprentice (Temporary, Part-Time)

What we’re looking for: Software/Hardware Testing Engineer, Apprentice (Temporary, Part-Time).

What we pay: $15 - $18 per hour.

Hours/Schedule: This position is temporary and part time (approx: 20hrs/week), the schedule is flexible!

 

This position is a great way to get your feet wet and to place some experience on your resume.

 

What qualifications/experience is required to be considered:

· Concurrent enrollment or completion of 2 years in college at a University or Technical Trade School

· Emphasis in Software/Hardware Engineering with exposure to Mechanical Engineering.

· Ability to configure, test and troubleshoot.

· Knowledge of Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD (desired)

· Self Starter



 

What you’ll be responsible for if selected:

· Writing the Verification and Validation Test Plans in accordance with Software/Hardware Requirement Specifications.

· Execute the test plan.

· Manage the CR database to track defects and bugs in the software that is tested.

· Ensure the tracking of and resolution of software defects that are noted in testing.

· Perform other duties as assigned.
