Working experience in embedded software development for telecommunications an/or data networking equipment through design, implementation and test phases. Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS): OSE but will consider others also Skilled in analyzing and debugging interface issues between software layers and between software and hardware Fluent in C/C++ languages Familiar with Tcl/Tk and Expect Skilled in Object-oriented Analysis and Design Experience with source-level debuggers Familiar with logic analyzers Familiar with ClearCase Dedicated, goal oriented, and a team player Familiar with SONET and/or Data standards Data Experience with the following: IEEE 802.3 standards Layer 2 Ethernet switching Metro Ethernet Forum Awareness - policing, classification, shaping, flow-control Ethernet SOAM, LOAM, and Link Aggregation Developing low level driver code Developing code for Provisioning, Alarms and performing monitoring for Ethernet and SONET RTOS Ethernet and Ethernet-over-SONET test equipment Debugging low level real time issuesBSC Field of study in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering 7 + years experience Experience in Software Development for Telecommunications Access or Core Transmission Equipment Familiarity  with Data Networking, Routers, SONET, DWDM Skills and abilities with Embedded Software Development for Telecommunications Equipment, C/C++, TCP/IP, Real Time Operating Systems, Ethernet, SONET, Ethernet private line/Ethernet virtual private line (EPL/EVPL), Traffic Mgmt (QOS), Ethernet protection switching, LOAM, SOAM
