Sharepoint Software Consultant

Job Purpose: 



The candidate consultant will be responsible for planning, designing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing SharePoint 2007. 

  Job Responsibilities: 



 Work with Clients to identify and document project requirements Design infrastructure, custom components, information taxonomy Code and unit test custom software components Produce quality engineering estimates based on documented requirements or design documentation Work with client stakeholders of various levels, roles, duties, and responsibilities Utilize best practices related to the deployment of SharePoint. Lead teams and interact with Clients. Willing to travel up to 50%

 



Job Knowledge/Skills: 

Professional experience with the Microsoft .NET Framework Relational database experience using Microsoft SQL ServeWeb application development experiencGeneral comprehension of software development processes and software configuration managemenExcellent communication skillMigration from WSS 2.0 to WSS 3.0 and SPS 2003 to MOSS 2007.Farm infrastructure architecturInstallation and Configuration of WSS/MOSCSS, XML, JavaScripBranding utilizing Mater Pages, Layouts and themeDesigner and Visual Studio WorkflowDeployment of Custom Web Parts and Web ControlSharePoint Designer 200Security and permission configuratioTargeting and auditing in SharePoint 2007





  Education and Experience: 

B.S. in Computer Science/Software Engineering 3-5 years experience as a Software Consultant and 2+ years experience with SharePoint technologies MS Certification a plus
