Service Technician

Due to continued strong company growth, we are now interviewing for full time and contract Installation Service Technicians to join our dynamic company.  Direct Source earns client loyalty and referrals by delivering flawless deployments, setting the bar for the level of skill and service provided by our Technicians.  As a DSI Technician, you will install, configure and work with a variety of hardware at the store level including:

 Point-of-Sale systems Payment terminals Barcode scanners and scanner-scales In-store peripherals Workstations and Servers Voice and data cabling Network hardware CCTV/Security hardware Wireless LAN

 

Full Time Service Technicians

This is an entry to mid level position, requiring 2-5 years of experience in the above technology areas. Our Technicians are provided with the tools, systems and training to be successful in their career.  Responsibilities and Requirements of the position include, but are not limited to:Consistently provide customers with a professional and quality service experience Acts as an installer for project pilots to verify scope, timing and technical documentation Assist in developing and providing input to technical documentation. Provides installation services at client retail locations. May assist with interviewing and training technical contractors for projects. Assist with coordinating and providing technical training or Q&A to other subcontract service technicians. Responsible, dependable and possess the ability to work independently Desire to learn and build on current skills Travel up to 80% in an assigned region; may include some nationwide Major credit card with the ability to make travel arrangements Must pass a credit and background check

 

 

Contract Service Technicians

All techs must have a laptop (preferably with a serial port or serial port adapter), cell phone, digital camera (cell phone cameras are not acceptable), valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.

These positions are project based and are not to be considered full time employment.
