Senior Systems Engineer
GCA Technology Services is looking for a Unix and Storage Specialist to be based in its Tampa Bay, Florida headquarters. GCA is the premiere provider of Storage and Unix solutions in the Tampa Bay area, as well as the leading provider of Solaris, Java, and other Sun, Novell, Veritas technology training for Sun Microsystems in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Seattle, San Diego, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta and Hampton (VA). GCA is also one of the fasted growing companies in the Tampa area and one of the fasted growing VARs in the country.
The ideal candidate:
*Â Holds certifications as a Veritas Certified Professional, Sun Certified Systems Engineer, NetApp Certified Professional or VMware Systems Engineer.Â
* Has hands on experience implementing and managing complex storage and server solutions in enterprise level companies. (SAN, NAS, Back up/restore, replication)
*Â Hands on experience with current products from Veritas, StorageTek, Spectra Logic, Network Appliance, Hitachi Data Systems, EMC, VMware, Sun, Cisco or HP.
*Â Excellent verbal and writing skills to support diverse sales operations.
*Â Strong presentation skills
Additional certifications from any of the above vendors is a plus.Â
