Senior SAS Administrator
Senior SAS AdministratorDescription: Will provide administrative support for SAS 9, including application installation and end-user support.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing and maintaining connectivity of systems and switches, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, performing daily system back-up procedures, maintaining and creating Webtrends reports. Designs and implements complex local and wide-area networks of machines. Manages a large, complex site or network.Provides technical lead and/or supervises system administrators, system programmers, or others of equivalent seniority.Installs and administers software, maintains hardware, networking, firewalls and PC's. Upgrades, sets standards and configurations, maintains security, provides user access to network, supports users and resolves problems. Requirements: Experience with SAS and Sybase applications and installs and SAS programming.Previous experience working in a large-scale Unix environment.Ability to work with application groups to understand application team's needs.Willing to work with Unix and Microsoft architecture teams to understand relationships between the Unix environment and the Microsoft environment.Self-starter, able to persist when little documentation exists.Able to work in a complex, matrixed environment.Team player.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Willing to provide on-call support.VOLT is an EOE employer.Location: Phoenix, AZ Type: CONTRACT Duration: 365+ Days Pay Rate: DOE Contact: Volt Technical ResourcesVolt Workforce Solutions3020 E.
